Road Ride Forth Bridge - West Fife - Clackmannan - Forth Bridge (flat) 73km | road ride | Komoot Starting at the Forth Bridge this route follows the north coastline of the Forth estuary, passing through old fishing villages and on the quiet roads to Clackmannan. Then it joins the Devon cycleway, passing traffic-free to Dollar. Then it turns south onto some of Fife's most ridden B roads back to the Forth Bridge.
Gravel Ride, Mixed surfaces Cramond Brig Loop. 45km (flat) | gravel ride | Komoot A favourite route by local riders. With a mixture of B roads and gravel paths. It passes under all 3 Iconic Forth Bridges. Cafes can be found in South Queensferry before heading along the coastal paths, with trees coming right to the beaches. If you pass through this area there are great camp spots on the beaches or in the forests.
Road Ride Around The Forth Bridges 65km (flat) | road ride | Komoot An absolute classic route, often one of the first routes a rider does. It's flat and scenic. You can start the route anywhere along the route and go clockwise or anti-clockwise. It passed through some lovely fishing villages on the north coast of the Forth estuary. On the south side of the Estuary, you will pass through the INEOS petrochemical plant, its not scenic but gives you an idea where all the petrol and plastic are made. Then it climbs a little to offer fantastic views across the whole of the Forth. Mostly on quiet B or even C roads and crossed the Forth twice across iconic bridges.
Road Ride Around Fife 175km | road ride | Komoot This is a long road ride mostly following the fife coast, it starts and fishiness in Dunfermline. Using B roads this is a quiet route. Passing through stunning fishing villages, Historic St Andrews and along the South Tay estuary, before heading back south through rolling countryside.
Road Ride Forth Bridge -Path O Condie - Cleish - Forth Bridge 96km (hilly) | road ride | Komoot This route is hilly, taking in some iconic climbs. Cleish and Path O Conidie. It offers stunning views as a reward on the way up, at the top and on the way down. Often you can see for 30 miles on a clear day. Heaven Scent Cafe in Milnathort offers amazing food and cakes, make sure and check out the cafe garden. On a nice day it's the best place to enjoy your food and coffee.
