I recently purchased this under-saddle bike bag specifically to carry spare inner tubes. Overall, it’s a decent product but there are a couple of things to be aware of. The bag itself is slightly smaller than I expected — it fits a tube and a couple of small tools, but there’s not much extra room.

The biggest issue I encountered was with the mounting straps. They’re perfectly fine for a standard round seat tube, but unfortunately, they’re not long enough to secure the bag around an aero seat tube. If you have an aero frame, you might struggle to get a secure fit without some DIY adjustments.

Aside from that, the construction and materials seem good, and once attached to a normal seatpost, it holds securely and stays out of the way. Overall, it’s a solid choice for traditional setups, but less ideal for aero bikes.

The Dass 0.7L Saddlebag has a strap long enough to fit around an aero post up to 50mm deep. We could have made the strap longer, but that would have made it too long for a round or D-shaped seat post. While it’s possible to cut a longer strap down, most people wouldn’t do that—they would just get annoyed by the longer strap rubbing against their leg.

I purchased the 1.5L saddlebag which is of excellent build quality, fits onto the seat quickly and securely, also has a nice little tab for my rear light. Brae Cycling posted the same day I placed my order. I highly recommend them and will definitely be using them again.

Excellent waterproof saddle bag

I opted for the Dass 1.5l saddle bag for my gravel bike. I was slightly concerned that like previous saddle bags it would rattle about under my saddle. Rest assured it's ideal, fastens securely, doesn't move about and importantly doesn't get in the way. What I love about this bag is I can fit my mini pump in with my spare inner, multitool and other small essentials. and it's waterproof. Perfect! Would definitely recommend
